The statistics for November is not optimistic and shows a month-to-month upward trend.

Thus, more than 1200 KABs were used in November, which is a record.

Thank you - so, finally, here are the differences I was wondering about between Storm Z and Storm V, which I have been hearing more and more about recently. I am surprised about the decision not to release convicts at the end of their term as it was the case with the convicts from both Wagner’s Project K and Storm Z. Considering that the convicts are fighting for their own freedom I wonder if this could be accompanied by an improvement in their conditions and discipline imposed on them. Maybe the system of control through barrier troops is very good, maybe stuff happens and Russian censorship is very efficient, but I have always been surprised by the relative discipline of Russian convicts. You would expect desertions, surrenders and events like fragging etc. to happen much more often.

On a related note, regarding what we were debating here a few days ago, tonight the Twitter page that keeps track of the Russian officers fallen in Ukraine posted this obituary. Which suggests that Storm (not Z/V and so not made up of convicts) detachments that are organic to Russian regiments/brigades should be company tactical groups, probably almost battalion size, with (at least) one tank platoon in their order of battle for instance. While the convicts are framed, for the time being, in smaller units without heavy equipment, barring exceptions such as the Sever-Z “Brigade”.
